ERL Houston is a National Board-Certified VR Repair and TO Facility. Our VR certification means we are approved to certify the valves we repair have been rebuilt to the OEM specifications and the standards set forth by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors. Our TO certification allows us to test and re-certify your valve between rebuild intervals following National Board standards.
We have the capabilities to rebuild, test and certify ASME Section VIII air/gas and liquid conventional and pilot operated relief valves with pressures ranging up to 4,350 psi and inlet flange sizes up to 10” NPS.

Our relief valve test equipment uses digital pressure sensors to automatically capture the set pressure and reseat pressure of your device and is equipped with a laser-controlled bubble counter to ensure seat tightness. Every repair is subject to a stringent quality control inspection prior to shipping where every aspect of the repair is reviewed from the critical dimensions all the way to the information on the pack slip.
